Who am I? What is a worthwhile life?
These are our essential questions for 7th grade. We will explore, discuss, and grapple with our personal responses to these questions throughout the year. As a culmination of our thoughts and studies, we will end the year with a "Worthwhile Life Interview". Each student will sit down with a community member to share his/her ideas on these important questions.
Not sure if you wrote it all down in your Binder Reminder? Missed a day of school and want to catch up? Often there are helpful links on these webpages that show student samples, video clips, study tools, and more. I recommend that you check your teachers' homework sites on a daily basis.

Microloans: Make a difference!
What is a microloan? How can something small make such a big difference? Throughout the year our class will make several loans to entrepreneurs across the globe. When our funds are paid back, we will loan again...now that is some humanitarian magic! In 2008 we started with just $25.00. Since then, we have made 71 loans. We have loaned the equivalent of $2,675.00 by re-lending the money that was returned back to us. We have helped small business owners in 35 countries!
