WorthWhile Life Interviews

On this day in June, you will come prepared with your Who Am I? project and present it to a community member.  You will also come prepared to answer questions related to our 7th grade theme: What is a Worthwhile Life?  Sound scary?  We will work on this year-long project step by step.  You will appreciate this experience, I promise!   When it comes time for your first job interview, you will already have had the experience of presenting yourself in a formal interview thanks to this project!

Dressing up...

Here are a few photos as evidence that yes, you will dress up for these interviews!  Look how professional we look!

Guidelines:
  • Choose an outfit that shows you have dressed up for the interview. This demonstrates that you are taking the process seriously and that you are representing yourself as a professional. Think about what you would wear to a school music performance (concert attire), job interview, church, temple, mosque, or other religious center and you are probably on the right track.
  • Make sure your outfit is clean and still fits! You might be surprised how much you've grown!
  • If you don't have something to wear, consider borrowing from a family member, neighbor, or friend. Your counselor also has some options that you may choose from.
